Job Description

Pickers are very important to our customer. The primary role of a picker is to pick orders from warehouse inventory utilizing pick tickets and then stage the product for inspection and delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Select customer orders from pick ticket
  • Check quality of product prior to pulling order and report poor quality items to management
  • Stack, wrap and label pallets correctly for each customer to ensure proper routing
  • Stage pallets for loading
  • Meet established minimum productivity standards of 50 lines per hour with 98.5% accuracy rate
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of warehouse
  • Comply with Company’s policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Work OT/weekend and/or holiday work as required
  • Meet and/or exceed performance expectations of pulling 50 lines per hour, or 350 lines in an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to perform the physical duties of this position as indicated under the “Physical Demands” section, below
  • Punctual and reliable in their work attendance
  • Professional, courteous, and reliable, with outstanding organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comply with Company’s safety policies
  • Comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and Company policies to exhibit ethical behavior in accordance with our Code of Ethics and Business Conduct

Key Qualifications Include:

  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Ability to work independently or with a team with solid communication skills
  • Solid problem solving and decision making skills
  • Willingness and ability to work in a warehouse with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hold & cold)
