Job Description


  • Assemble parts kits for rebuilds as maintenance WOs dictate.
  • Return used parts back to appropriate binsin storeroomfor futureuse, crediting originally charged department
  •  Run report to identify all work orders set to status‘waitingfor parts’,create required kits and locatethem in identifiedlocation in cage.Complete processby resetting status to ‘ready’.
  • Create Purchase Orders and Change Orders;Maintain, copy andfile receiving and purchaseorderpaper workasrequired forAccounts Payable and Store room record
  • Receives all shipped or delivered parts andsupplies, logs in receipt of materials,tagsallmaterials, distributes to floor or stores in inventory; periodically picks up parts or supplies.
  • Conducts periodic inventories;comparesphysical andcomputerized inventorylists ofparts and supplies tomonitor quantities.
  • Issue receipts and perform inventory counts
  • Maintains clean and orderlyparts room,organizes shelvesandwork area,ensuresthatallpartsand supplies are adequately labeled and organized.
  • Documents any and all actions taken in a professionalmanner, in writingand electronically.Completesall necessary forms(e.g.,repair orders, core and warrantytags, and parts slips).
  • Identifies required parts for repairs and properlyrequisitions parts or sendsparts out for repair; returns brokenand non-functional parts to vendors for account credit
  • Consults with maintenance staff regardingsupply orders;orders buildingmaintenance materialsand supplies as requested.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


  • Solid knowledge of maintenance requirementsand inventory management techniques
  • Solid knowledge ofsafe working practices and procedures
  • Basic ability to read, understand, and use parts manuals, and computer based maintenance information systems,parts manuals, service updates, and troubleshooting guides
  • Excellent communication(verbal andwritten) skills required to handle internal/external customer needs.
  • Excellent telephone skills, strong problem solving ability.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Out Look, Internet, Ten-key by touch and DSD Program is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, negotiationand problem solving skills.
  • Great attention to detail and anexceptionalmulti-taker a must.


Associates in BusinessAdministration or Minimum 5 years in manufacturing/industrialpurchasingand/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

FoodSafety & Quality Requirements / Responsibilities

  • Adheres to all FoodSafety/Quality SOP’s
  • Accurately completes required Food Safety& Quality Records
